Family Photography Lake Macquarie

Four families came together on a very windy afternoon at Catherine Hill Bay. This was the biggest family group I have been asked to photograph so far and I have to admit I was a little nervous in the days beforehand. The weather was threatening rain most of the day so we initially thought the session wouldn’t go ahead but with a group this size it’s kind of hard to reschedule. We pushed ahead and the weather remained kind resulting in some stunning photos, especially once the sun started setting.  This was also my first session at Catherine Hill Bay and I can say I’m a bit in love with the location. 

Can I just say this family was awesome and so much fun. They were relaxed and completely at ease which always makes my job easy! The session photos were a surprise birthday present for the client’s Nan and I hear a few tears were shed when she saw the photos.
