Pregnancy is such a special time in your life that goes way too quickly. You quickly forget what it feels like to be pregnant once bub has arrived so that’s why it’s important to document this time. A great way to do this is by booking a maternity photography session with Newcastle Maternity Photographer Little Magnolia. Your little one will be fascinated by photos of when they were in mum’s tummy. I know my daughter is.
You are growing an amazing little person and I would love to capture this time for you during a maternity photography session. Most clients book in around the 32-week mark and your session can be held outdoors at an agreed location (Newcastle & Lake Macquarie areas) or in the comfort of your own home. Maternity photography sessions run for 1-2 hours and following your session I will provide you with a private online gallery of photos from your session. I offer a special discounted package for bundled maternity and newborn sessions. Have a look at the packages page for more information.
What to wear to your Maternity Photography Session
Comfort is key whilst pregnant. Most of my clients wear either a long flowy dress or something tight to accentuate the beautiful bump. Solid colour always works best for the mum to be. Think lighter colours such as white, cream or pastels and have your partner (and children) dress to compliment your colour choice. Try not to all dress the same and avoid logos on shirts and loud prints which will cause distraction in your photos.
Wear comfortable footwear which can easily be removed, especially for a beach maternity session. I wore Havaiana’s to my maternity photo shoot!
If you are struggling for ideas prior to your maternity photography session please let me know. I usually find Pinterest is a great source of inspiration.
